The most avant-garde, modernist, and elaborate form on the album, based on Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer's poem "Blue Souls." The piece opens with a minute-long operatic soprano vocalise (coloratura), followed by an abrupt, turbulent surge of symphonic strings. The whole transitions into a sensual, "breathed" erotic piece about hypnotic, celadon light, combining the aesthetics of chamber music with a deep jazz mood.
